It is exhausting to keep up with all of these, and it saddens me a bit as well. If there is anyone who loves a healthy body and soul it is me. If there is anyone who wants people to invest in their health, because I truly believe that it will help them invest in other things, like changing the freaking world, that is me….
But all the drama, quick fixes, focus on plans, and perfect execution, and diets, and pictures of hard bodies, got me feeling like….blah
I want to help others invest in a new mindset. A consistent-fall in love with the process-no self-deprivation or worry about what to eat at a friend’s house-confident in your own skin-and CHOOSING to eat things that restore and heal your body mindset.
Those things take time, and those things are meant to be tried and tested for everyone. I am a pretty big believer that one plan is not for everyone. We all have different loves, passions, goals. Try things out, learn, and don’t stop until you find the fit for you and your goals.
These things take DISCIPLINE, CONSISTENCY (like years of consistency), and PERSERVERANCE even when you don’t see changes in that first month. It also takes something called COMMUNITY. I have seen people change their mindsets about food and their bodies by themselves, but the ones who keep it for the long haul are the ones who have people in their corner on the good and bad days.
One thing we want to always be about at KHOP is help others be in it for the long haul.
Yes, there are workout programs and meal plans we give you to follow to help you get comfortable with. We also facilitate ONLINE accountability groups to help you on your way, then your job to find what works and keep at it. Not one plan is the best for everyone.
We want to provide the information, knowledge, inspiration, and encouragement, but it is up to you to find the thing that helps you be healthy and whole in mind, body, and soul. Let us know how we can help.
Starting January 11th we will be giving you some tools to continue this life long journey. For 21 days we will guide you with information and encouragement for this to be your journey for the long haul. We hope to get you on a path you can sustain for life.
