So when I started working out my girls they decided to kindly call our workouts in my garage and backyard K's HOUSE OF PAIN=KHOP. I like to rename it K's HOUSE OF PURPOSE, POTENTIAL, PULL-UPS.... But KHOP has stuck. And to tell you the truth when a community experiences a little "pain" together for a greater "purpose" it bonds that team like no other. So KHOP is still KHOP and will probably always stay that way.
KHOP came about after a time of silence and solitude if you will. How you have silence and solitude with a 4 year old and a newborn I don't know. But it was a season God was calling me to just BE and not DO. Because Kristi likes to DO things and I mean LOTS of things. During the BE time I focused on sitting at Jesus feet and getting back in shape after having Carter Mae our second child. As a back
-in-the-day athlete and now a dabbler in triathlons, I started to try some Crossfit/High Intensity Intervals. For the first time I merged a clean diet with working out. I always thought I ate decent, but wow, how that changed when I really started to be conscious of the things I was putting in my body. I was a busy mom and had about 30 minutes to workout daily, but after about 6-9months I was in the best shape of my life. I think I might could rival my highschool basketball self in sprints. Some friends asked if I would work them out in my living room. So with my kids jumping on their backs during push-ups and stealing their water bottles we did. I realized as a former coach that this was the greatest thing EVER! Coaching people and encouraging them to be the BEST version of who God made them to be, while keeping close to my kids. 2 KHOP girls became 4, then 6, then 8, then 10, you get the gist. So one pull-up bar and a million burpees later I have the incredible privilege of journeying with others to WHOLENESS of Mind, Body, Spirit. WHOLENESS=lacking nothing, complete. My prayer is that I can be an instrument that encourages others to experience WHOLENESS by using the avenue of health and fitness. Merging the mind, body, and spirit.

We may all have different individual fitness goals, but we are ALL instrumental in helping one another accomplish them. We celebrate together whenever the goals of an individual are met.

THINGS INCLUDED IN KHOP MEMBERSHIP:
Pay at the first of the month.
3 classes per week ($130)
Goal development, nutrition plans, and option to be in online accountability groups.
Fitness leadership from a certified (NFPA-National Fitness Professional Association) and CROSSFIT L1 Trainer personal trainer with a bunch of different tricks up her sleeve. (Former bball, volleyball, track athlete. Played basketball in college, competes in Crossfit and triathlons currently.)
Use of facilities including all weights and equipment. Or I bring the weight to you if we are off-site.
